What about Heaven and Hell?

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS DAMNED?

No, but there are more helps to salvation if they do. The Fathers of the 2nd Vatican Council of the 1960's wrote: 'We believe that this one true religion continues to exist in the Catholic and Apostolic Church …' (Dignitatis Humane, 1). Whilst it is true that the Catholic Church claims to be the one true Church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of the means of salvation, it does also admit that non-Catholics can be saved. Those who, through no fault of their own, have not heard the authentic teachings of Jesus but nonetheless seek God with a sincere heart, they also can be saved (CCC 847). With the exception of those who are invincibly ignorant, right action is not enough. Jesus never said that we could be saved by good works alone: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved, he who does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16: 16.

I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WERE A CHRISTIAN?

I am. A Catholic is a Christian. No non-Catholic Christian Church can trace its origin in an unbroken line back to the foundation of the Church by Christ on the first Pope: St Peter (Matt 16: 18). A Catholic is a Christian, a baptized follower of Jesus Christ in the one Church Christ established for all people until the end of time; a Church that is united in faith, worship and government; a Church that is from the time of the Apostles, aimed at holiness for all; a Church that has always believed in Purgatory, the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, the primacy of the Pope, and which has always venerated the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Catholic Church is Christ's. 100% Catholic = 100% Christian.
