WHAT EXACTLY IS GRACE?
Grace is the Holy Power needed for Heaven. Without it, we cannot get to Heaven. Grace puts us in right relationship with God. When we die, we must have grace in our souls. No-one can initially earn grace, it is a gift from God, but grace can be lost if we freely and knowingly disobey God's commandments. (see CCC paragraphs 1987 - 2011)
WHERE DOES GRACE COME FROM?
From the saving action of Christ on the Cross which is transmitted to us today through the Catholic Church.
HOW DO WE GET GRACE?
Short answer? Get baptized. Then remain in grace by praying, believing and obeying all the Catholic Church teaches, doing good works, and regularly receiving the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confession. Heaven awaits those who do the will of God.
